About Us

What We're All About

Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.

About the Director

I grew up in a home in which my parents believed children could choose Jesus as Savior. This is what I did at the age of 6. As I grew my mom was active with CEF. Then in 1997, the Lord called me to children’s ministry. Then in 1999, the Lord made it clear to me the ministry He had for me was CEF. I have served the Lord through CEF ever since. God has daily been faithful.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

Our Story

Who We Are

"We praise the Lord for His faithfulness."

In the early 1970s the Spirit began to move through various individuals in Hardin and Hancock about the need of children to know Jesus. This all came together as Margaret Bash returned home for a while from the mission field to care for her ailing parents.  The result of all this was the start of CEF Of Hardin-Hancock on October 28th, 1974. Then in 2003 a few years after Mike Todd, our current local director started the Lord began to expand our area by adding Marion, Wood, & Wyandot counties to our chapter. The result was a name change to CEF Of Greater Findlay. Ministry continued to grow further and grew into Allen, Logan, & Putnam counties along with the adding of staff to the local chapter. Today ministry is happening in many schools and communities across our region of 8 counties. We praise the Lord for His faithfulness and how He works through the local Chapter. Giving opportunities to share of Him as He leads us each day.
